PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug for controlling an intestinal function that contains a substance having a high safety and exhibiting an excellent intestinal function, while using a natural material as compared with a substance having a conventional intestinal function.SOLUTION: The drug for controlling an intestinal function contains powders of leaves and/or stems of barley, wherein the powder has an average particle diameter of 25 μm or less. The drug for controlling intestinal function of the present invention can be expected to improve, alleviate, treat, and prevent intestinal dysfunction such as constipation, diarrhea, defecation disorder, intestinal immunodeficiency, the generation of harmful microbial metabolites and harmful enzymes in the intestine, lifestyle-related diseases, various diseases and abnormalities related to abnormalities of intestinal tissue such as allergy and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明の目的は、従前の整腸作用を有する物質に比べて、天然素材を用いながら、安全性が高く、かつ、優れた整腸作用を示す物質を含有する整腸剤を提供することにある。【解決手段】上記目的は、麦類の葉及び/又は茎の粉末を含有する整腸剤であって、前記粉末は、平均粒子径が25μm以下である粉末である、前記整腸剤により解決される。本発明の整腸剤によれば、便秘、下痢、排便障害などの腸機能不全、腸管免疫不全、腸内の有害微生物代謝産物や有害酵素の発生、生活習慣病、アレルギーなどの腸組織の異常に関連する種々の疾病及び異常の改善、緩和、治療及び予防することが期待できる。【選択図】図1
