The present invention relates to an eco-friendly coating composition for paper. More specifically, the present invention relates to an eco-friendly coating composition for paper, which prevents release of harmful substances by adsorbing and decomposing the same released from paper, ensuring excellent durability since the coating composition is hardly detached after coated on paper, and does not reduce visibility for letters printed on paper.
