PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous cosmetic which stably contains a sparingly soluble component selected from ceramides, sterols, glycyrrhetinic acid and its derivative. SOLUTION: A cosmetic containing the following components (A) and (B). (A) One or more selected from isosorbide derivatives represented by the following general formula (1), (B) ceramides, sterols, and glycyrrhetinic acid and its derivatives. (In the formula, R 1 and R 2 may be the same or different, respectively, and represent a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms or a specific polyoxyalkylene group.)
