The invention relates to an electrode for measuring electroencephalograms that can operate correctly when it rotates about itself, as a result of at least one continuous conductive surface that covers an angular section of a main body (2) extending longitudinally along a linear axis (1). De esta manera, si el electrodo sufre giros en torno al eje lineal (1) menores que el ángulo de dicha sección angular, la superficie conductora sigue en contacto con el cuero cabelludo del usuario, y la medida se realiza correctamente.
