PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion type artificial cardiac muscle system which can properly assist the contraction of the heart at a required site by making the system selectively stick to the ventricle surface.

SOLUTION: This insertion type artificial cardiac muscle system includes an artificial cardiac muscle apparatus 11 which is stuck to the surface of the cardiac muscle of the heart by sticking apparatus 15 and 15, and mechanically assists a part of the contraction of the ventricles 6 and 7 of the heart.
