The present disclosure relates to cosmetic compositions and methods for using the cosmetic compositions to improve the appearance of skin. For example, the cosmetic compositions can be used to treat acne, to treat inflammation, to provide anti-aging benefits to the skin, etc. The cosmetic compositions typically include a cosmetically acceptable carrier a combination of skin-active ingredients comprising: (i) sulfur； (ii) niacinamide； and (iii) phenylethyl resorcinol.
