The present invention relates to a novel immunological adjuvant composition that comprises of one branched long-chain organic compound which is a vitamin E-precursor molecule isolated from Sea buckthorn leaf extract. The molecule finds utility as safe adjuvant in enhancing immunogenicity of antigens.
