PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickener for hyaluronic acid aqueous solution which is free from restriction that thickening of an aqueous solution of hyaluronic acid by adding a nonelectrolyte such as glycerin, glucose, etc., is known but it can not be applied to a case comprising electrolytes such as a salt etc.
SOLUTION: There are provided an aqueous thickener preparation dissolving and comprising the hyaluronic acid composed of boric acid, a method for thickening hyaluronic acid aqueous preparation by formulating boric acid, and a method for producing hyaluronic acid containing aqueous preparation with increased viscosity.
