The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating STAT3-mediated diseases comprising, as an active ingredient, a non-polar organic solvent extract of Schizandra chinensis having a STAT3 inhibitory activity. Since the Schizandra chinensis extract and the organic solvent extract thereof according to the present invention inhibit a STAT3 activity effectively, the extracts can be effectively used for the prevention and treatment of STAT3-mediated diseases such as inflammation.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention et le traitement de maladies où STAT3 est impliquée, comprenant comme principe actif un extrait de Schizandra chinensis, obtenu grâce à un solvant organique non polaire, présentant une activité inhibitrice de STAT3. Lextrait de Schizandra chinensis et la fraction extraite de celui-ci par un solvant organique selon la présente invention inhibent de façon efficace lactivité de STAT3, ces extraits peuvent être utilisés efficacement pour la prévention et le traitement de maladies où STAT3 est impliquée, telles que linflammation.본 발명은 STAT3 저해활성을 갖는 오미자 비극성 유기용매 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 STAT3매개 질환의 예방 및 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 오미자 추출물, 이의 유기용매 추출물은 STAT3 활성을 효과적으로 저해하므로, 염증 등과 같은 STAT3 매개 질환의 예방 및 치료에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다.
