The present invention relates to a bed soil containing germanium dioxide for plant cultivation and a manufacturing method thereof comprising: a step which manufactures water-soluble &alpha-GeO_2 by sintering &beta-GeO_2 at 1050 to 1070°C for 4 to 6 hours a step which manufactures a germanium aqueous solution by dissolving the water-soluble &alpha-GeO_2 in water of 60 to 100°C and a step which manufactures perlite powder containing germanium by drying them after dipping perlite powder having absorption rate of 94% or more into the germanium aqueous solution.
