PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental adhesive composition comprising an acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer, the dental adhesive composition having high adhesive strength with respect to dentin, particularly enamel, in the presence of water, and further provide a dental adhesive composition having improved storage stability of the adhesive itself.SOLUTION: A dental adhesive composition comprises (A) a polymerizable monomer component comprising acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer (A1), (B) water, (C) a water-soluble volatile organic solvent, and (D) a fatty acid ester with water holding ability of 100-1500%.
