PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in which position adjustment is improved by avoiding the occurrence of deviation in a reference image with respect to the scanning surface of an ultrasonic tomographic image imaged according to the position of a probe.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus creates a reference image corresponding to an ultrasonic tomographic image of a subject using the ultrasonic tomographic image of the subject and the reference volume data of the subject and then displays the reference image.
