PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female connector 1 for reliably pressing an upper part of a circumferential rib 12CR of a core member 11 by a straight part 22ST on a side of a distal end DE of a housing 21, 21 for fixing.SOLUTION: A female connector 1 includes: a core member 11 and a housing 21, 21. A main body 12 of the core member 11 has a circumferential rib 12CR formed on a side of a distal end DE and a distal end side flange 12FDE formed on a side of the distal end DE of the circumferential rib 12CR. The housing 21, 21 includes: a proximal end part 22PE, 22PE and a distal end part 22DE, 22DE. The proximal end part 22PE, 22PE has a protruding part 22T and a groove part 22M formed on an outer periphery. The distal end part 22DE, 22DE has a screw part 22SW formed on an outer periphery.
