PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find an effective bloodstream-improving agent that comprises as an effective ingredient extracts from a plant belonging to the genus Cassia of the family Leguminosae and to provide a new bloodstream-improving agent that exhibits unprecedentedly sufficient bloodstream-improving effects and has no problems from the viewpoint of safety, the manufacturing cost and palatability, and foods and drinks containing the same.
SOLUTION: Extracts obtained from a plant belonging to the genus Cassia of the family Leguminosae, particularly Cassia mimosoides L. among them, are used as an effective ingredient of a medicine for improving the bloodstream, particularly for improving peripheral circulation functions.
