The irrigation device includes an elongate support member, the elongate support member having a ground engaging portion at one end and an opposed end, wherein the support member is configured so that when the irrigation device is positioned near to the edge region, the opposed end is located outside of the edge region. The irrigation device also includes a watering outlet where the watering outlet configured to dispense water into the area bounded by the edge region and a water inlet located substantially at the opposed end.
