PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a lesion in an exposed state without manual aid when operating the lesion of a hidden part such as the back side of lips.
SOLUTION: The surgical clip comprises a pair of clamp members 1a and 1b, a spindle 5 for pivotally attaching the clamp members 1a and 1b to each other, an annular pressing part 2 provided on the tip part of one clamp member 1a, a planar receiving part 3 provided facing the pressing part 2 on the tip part of the other clamp member 1b, and a spring member 6 for energizing the clamp members 1a and 1b in the direction of closing the pressing part 2 and the receiving part 3. The surgical clip is used to clamp the lesion so as to surround it by the annular pressing part 2 and continuously fix the lesion in an exposed state without the manual aid thereafter. Also, since the annular pressing part 2 presses the periphery of the lesion, the lesion is put in an ischemia state and a bleeding amount during the operation is decreased.
