PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot switch which easily performs positioning and input operation: and to provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus.SOLUTION: A foot switch includes: a supporting body 51 which is slidably disposed in touch with a bottom surface where a bed 10 for placing a subject P thereon is set a first operation unit 61 supported by the supporting body 51 so as to be movable by treading a first braking unit 62 supported by the supporting body 51 disposed apart from the bottom surface and a first switch 63 inputting first operation information on X-ray irradiation to the subject P in response to the treading operation of the first operation unit 61.
