PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type rice planting machine having a fertilizing device capable of easily performing maintenance work. SOLUTION: In the riding type rice planting machine 1 having the fertilizing device 100 for releasing a fertilizer in a hopper at a predetermined amount to a field, the hoppers 133 and 143 are arranged in a right and left thereof, delivering parts 136 and 146 and input shafts 132 and 142 for transmitting power to the delivering parts are provided in the right and left hoppers. The riding type planting machine is configured such that the right and left hoppers are turnable in horizontal and vertical directions and the input shafts of the right and left hoppers are connected through a connection mechanism 180 and the connection of the right and left shafts are released through a release mechanism 190. The fertilizer in the right and left hoppers can be discharged by releasing the connection of the right and left input shafts and turning the right and left hoppers to a right and left upper part.
