PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a fusion image of functional information on a heart and anatomic information on coronary arteries, with the two pieces of information superimposed each other, which makes it easy to accurately capture a range of functional abnormalities visually.SOLUTION: An image display device includes: means for determining the center of axle of each of a plurality of sliced minor-axis images representative of functional information on a heart and each of a plurality of sliced minor-axis images representative of anatomic information on coronary arteries means for calculating, for each straight line extending radially from the center of axle of each of the minor-axis images, a feature amount based on a pixel value on the straight line, for projecting the feature amount on a cylinder along the straight line based on which the feature amount has been calculated, the cylinder having its central axis extending along the center of axle, and for generating a stretched image by opening up the cylinder so that predetermined places on the cylinder along the circumferential direction are positioned at both ends and means for displaying a superimposition of a stretched image of the functional information and a stretched image of the anatomic information.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】 心臓の機能的情報と冠動脈の解剖学的情報とを重ね合せた融合画像であって、機能異常の範囲を視覚的に正確に捉えることが容易な融合画像を表示する。【解決手段】 画像表示装置において、心臓の機能的情報を表す複数スライスの短軸像と冠動脈の解剖学的情報を表す複数スライスの短軸像のそれぞれについて、心軸を決定する手段と、各短軸像において、心軸から放射状に延びる各直線について当該直線上の画素値に基づく特徴量を求め、当該特徴量を当該特徴量が求められた直線に沿って上記心軸を中心軸とする円筒に投影し、当該円筒を当該円筒の円周方向における所定の位置が両端に位置するよう切り開いて成る展開像を生成する手段と、機能的情報側の展開像と解剖学的情報側の展開像とを重ねて表示する手段とを備える。【選択図】 図1
