To provide a dental handpiece cleaning device in which a front DOOR is continuously and smoothly opened and closed.
SOLUTION: A support pin 41 is housed and held in the holding hole 49 of a pin holding part 48. In a state in which the support pin 41 is held in the support hole 49, a coil spring 46 in a compressed state is disposed ON the outer peripheral side of the support pin 41 and the inner peripheral side of the holding hole 49. One end of the coil spring 46 is locked to the support pin 41, and the other end of the coil spring 46 is locked to the pin holding part 48. Thus and the support pin 41 is pressed to a support shaft 47 by the coil spring 46. Thereby the support pin 41 is moved forward to such a position that a fastener 45 is locked to the pin holding part 48 and the support pin 41 can be moved back in the direction of separating from the support shaft 47 until the coil spring 46 reaches a compression limit. Even when the front DOOR 30 or a body housing 20 swell, since the support pin 41 is moved back according to the amount of swelling and the front DOOR 30 is reasonably opened and closed.
