PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which can reduce stuffiness.SOLUTION: An inner surface of an inner sheet 31 positioned at an area 3 around the back waist of a disposable diaper 1 has a bulge part 61. The bulge part 61 has an apex part 61a and a skirt part 61b which is separable from the skin when the apex part 61a is in contact with the skin of a diaper wearer. A plurality of through holes 15 going through the diaper 1 are formed in the area 3 around the back waist. At least a part of the through holes 15 go through the diaper 1 at the skirt part 61b.
