PURPOSE: A composition for improving stem cell differentiation potency is provided to produce a large amount of stem cells, especially multipotent mesenchymal stem cells by effectively improving differentiation rate of the stem cells, and to be used in various clinical fields by increasing the use of the multipotent stem cells with superior safety than embryonic stem cells. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving stem cell differentiation potency contains a Cnidi Fructus extract which is prepared by treating Cnidi Fructus with water, methanol, ethanol, or a mixture thereof. The step cell is totipotent stem cells or multipotent stem cells.
