In einem Verfahren zur Färbung keratinhaltiger Fasern, insbesondere menschlicher Haare, werden in einem Aufhellschritt selektiv einige Fasern einer Blondierung mit einem Nuanciermittel unterworfen und anschließend wird die gesamte Menge der keratinhaltigen Fasern mit einem Färbemittel gefärbt. Das Färbemittel enthält als farbgebende Komponente: a) mindestens zwei Oxidationsfarbstoffvorprodukte, wobei mindestens ein Oxidationsfarbstoffvorprodukt vom Entwicklertyp sein muß oder b) mindestens zwei Oxofarbstoffvorprodukte, wobei mindestens ein Oxofarbstoffvorprodukt eine reaktive Carbonylverbindung sein muß. Said dyeing agent contains: a) at least two initial oxidation dyes, at least one of which has to be of the developer type, or b) at least two initial oxidation dyes, at least one of which has to be a reactive carbonyl compound, as a coloring component.
