PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image diagnosis support apparatus that can analyze an input image to check whether a patient suffers from Alzheimer type dementia even if the image includes an abnormal part such as cerebral infarction or brain tumor.SOLUTION: An image diagnosis support apparatus includes: a storage section for storing able-bodied person images acquired by imaging the brain of each of an able-bodied person an input section for inputting a patient image acquired by imaging the brain of a patient a detecting section for detecting an abnormal part included in the patient image a replacing section for creating a replaced image of the patient by replacing an image of the region of the abnormal part with an image of a region of a normal part a conversion section for acquiring position conversion data required for anatomical matching between the image of the replaced patient and the image of an able-bodied person from both the images, converting the image of the patient using the position conversion data so that the tissues of the brain of the patient each may positionally be matched with the tissues of the brain of the able-bodied person, and generating a converted image of the patient and a comparing section for comparing the converted image of the patient with the image of the able-bodied person to calculate a difference index indicating the difference between both images.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】入力した画像が脳梗塞や脳腫瘍等の異常部位を含む場合であっても、アルツハイマー型認知症等の診断のための解析を行うことができる画像診断支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態の画像診断支援装置は、健常者の脳を撮像した健常者画像を保存する記憶部と、患者の脳を撮像した患者画像を入力する入力部と、前記患者画像にある異常部位を検出する検出部と、前記異常部位の領域の画像を正常部位の領域の画像で置換して置換患者画像を生成する置換部と、前記置換患者画像と前記健常者画像とから、両者の解剖学的位置合わせに必要な位置変換データを取得し、前記患者の脳の各組織位置が前記健常者の脳の各組織位置に合致するように、前記位置変換データを用いて前記患者画像を変換して変換患者画像を生成する変換部と、前記変換患者画像と前記健常者画像とを比較して両者の差異を表す差異指標を算出する比較部と、を備える。【選択図】 図2
