The protective consists of triangular sections (2) of hard and rigid material, which are positioned to cover the earth on the surface of plant pots. They are fitted together to form a plate (1), which fits around the stem of the plant, growing in the pot. The sections can be of various thicknesses and sizes according to the material used. The triangular sections are characterised by the outer edge (4) having a circular or straight form, to form a complete plate, which can either be circular or square. The lower surface of the sections has a spikes (6) to anchor the sections to the soil.
