PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter capable of correcting the displacement between a farm field contact area that a float detects and an actual farm field surface by detecting the farm field surface, and detecting an appropriate planting height, thereby preventing improper planting.SOLUTION: A rice transplanter equipped with a float that detects a farm field contact area changes the planting depth of a planting part on the basis of the result of detection by the float and includes a sensor provided separately from the float for detecting a farm field surface.
