PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment apparatus capable of preventing a patient from accidentally swallowing false teeth or prosthesis.SOLUTION: The prone type dental treatment apparatus 10 includes a holder means for holding the head of the patient or user in the prone state and a means for applying the dental treatment to the oral cavity or to teeth of the patient or user in the prone state. Since the oral cavity is treated while the patient or user is in the prone posture, the patient or care-receiver can be prevented from accidentally swallowing false teeth or prosthesis.
