PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured leg trap that can surely catch animals without being buried in the ground.SOLUTION: The trap include: a binding member 1 for which a wire W is looped a fastening member 3 with which the loop of the binding member 1 is fastened small and a stepboard 8 which imparts a force to the fastening member 3 to make it operate. The trap fastens the binding member 1 by the force of the stepboard 8 so as to bind an animal leg. The fastening member 3 is composed of housing members 4, 5, 6 for housing a spring S that winds the wire W penetrating from the binding member 1 side to the opposite side thereof.
