PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel device having a step climbing function which needs only a small force to climb a step and is easily replaced with an existing wheel.SOLUTION: A wheel device of the invention includes: (1) a tire (2) a wheel in which the tire is attached to an outer periphery so as to freely rotate in a relative manner (3) a shaft member which is fixed to a frame of a vehicle device and extends in parallel to a vertical direction of the wheel (4) a member which restricts a moving path of the shaft member between a first position in an outer periphery of the wheel and a second position located at the advance side relative to the first position and (5) a member which applies an elastic force to the shaft member so that the shaft member is positioned in the first position when the wheel device travels in a normal state, allowed to move to the second position when the wheel device climbs the step, and returned to the first position when the wheel device moves to an upper tier of the step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 段差乗越えに要する力が小さい、既存車輪との代替にも容易に対応できる段差乗越え機能を有する車輪装置を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明の車輪装置は、(1)タイヤと、(2)相対的に自由回動できるようにタイヤを外周に取り付けたホイールと、(3)車両装置のフレームに固定された、ホイールの垂直方向に平行に延びている軸部材と、(4)ホイールの外周内の第1の位置と、第1の位置より進行側の第2の位置との間の軸部材の移動経路を規制する部材と、(5)通常走行時に軸部材を第1の位置に位置させ、段差乗越え時に軸部材が第2の位置に移動するのを許容し、段差の上段に移動したときに軸部材を第1の位置に復帰させるように、軸部材に弾性力を印加する部材とを備えることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
