PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely move a position sensor incorporating a coil during endoscope work.SOLUTION: In a position sensor 70 incorporating a coil 76 in a sensor body 71 having rigidity, a current signal generated in the coil 76 by detecting a magnetic field is sent to an NCU (endoscope shape detection device ) 50 through an enamel wire 73B connected to the coil 76 and an electric wire 73 comprising a vinyl covering electric wire 73A.
