A user-configurable precut kinesiology tape strip is provided for applicationby a user to apatient. Each end of the strip lobed, having troughs between the lobes. Thelobes are in pairsopposite each other. The backing paper is marked with grid lines connectingtroughs betweenthe lobes. The grid lines allow the user to selectively cut the strip to formit into any of a numberof possible configurations prior to removing the backing paper and applyingthe strip to apatient's body. A method of configuring such strips is also provided.
