More specifically, the invention relates to compounds with a woody note, having general formula (I), in which: - the ring with 6 carbon atoms is saturated or has a double bond between the C1 and C2 carbons or between the C1 and C6 carbons, and - R is chosen from a C<；sub>；2<；/sub>；-C<；sub>；5<；/sub>； alkyl or C<；sub>；2<；/sub>；-C<；sub>；5<；/sub>； alkenyl group.La invención se refiere a la química de fragancias y al campo de perfumería. Se refiere de manera más particular a compuestos con una nota de maderas, que representan a la fórmula general: en donde: el anillo con 6 átomos de carbono está saturado o tiene un doble enlace entro los carbonos C1 y C2 o entre los carbonos C1 y C6, R se selecciona a partir de un grupo alquilo de C2-C5 o alquenilo de C2-C5.
