A injector device is disclosed. The device comprises a container for a medicament, a plunger 33 for acting upon the medicament, a plunger drive mechanism 19, a plunger drive energy source 35, an end of dose indicator 13, 41 and an end of dose indication energy storage means 39. The end of dose indication energy storage means 39 is connected to the plunger 33 by a connector with a releasable attachment 83, 85. The plunger drive mechanism 19 causes the plunger to move, under the action of the plunger drive energy source 35. Energy from this source is then imparted to the indication energy storage means 39 and is stored by it. When the plunger 33 reaches the end of its travel, the releasable attachment 83 between the connector and the indication energy storage means is released. The end of dose indicator 13, 41 then interacts with the medicament delivery device, for example the external housing 3, to produce an indication that the delivery of the dose has been completed. This provides the user an audible, visible and/or tactile end of dose indication after all of the medicament has been delivered.
