PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent for a foaming glass, which excels in the cleaning effect of glass, in which an insecticidal effect and a protection effect against insects can be imparted to a glass surface after cleaning for a long period of time and to provide a glass surface treatment method that applies the imparting treatment of glass cleaning, the insecticidal effect, and the protection effect against the insects at the same time with the detergent for the foaming glass.SOLUTION: The detergent for the foaming glass comprises filling a foaming aerosol composition into an aerosol container, the composition including: a stock solution that contains a surfactant, a monohydric alcohol, water, an oily solvent and a pyrethroid-based insecticidal component and at least one propellant chosen from the group consisting of liquefied petroleum gas, and a dimethyl ether. The detergent for the foaming glass imparts the insecticidal effect and the protection effect against the insects to the glass after cleaning. In addition, the treatment method of a glass surface uses the detergent.
