PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous suspension of a microcapsule for temperature-controlled release of an active ingredient which does not cause precipitation during storage.SOLUTION: An aqueous suspension of a microcapsule is obtained by mixing an oil phase containing a rupture auxiliary with an aqueous solution containing a cationic surfactant to form an oil-in-water type emulsion and adding a water-reactive silicon compound containing tetraalkoxysilane to the oil-in-water type emulsion to allow the tetraalkoxysilane to undergo hydrolysis and a polymerization reaction in the oil/water boundary of the emulsion so as to form a microcapsule consisting of a core containing the rapture auxiliary and an oil and a silicate shell.
