The hydrophilic film-forming polymer is preferably GANTREZ S. The hydrophobic carrier is preferably a vegetable oil. A method of cleaning teeth includes applying to the teeth the oral care composition such that the hydrophilic film-forming polymer occludes dentinal tubules.
