PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for treating organic matter, which can execute decomposition treatment regardless of the kind of organic matter in which a product after treatment does not absorb moisture.SOLUTION: The method for treating organic matter stores the organic matter in a closing container provided with an exhaust valve, introduces heated steam into the closing container with the exhaust valve closed and stirs the organic matter while pressurizing and heating for decomposition. The method also releases the exhaust valve, introduces dried and superheated steam into the closing container under the almost normal pressure, stirs the organic matter after decomposition in an oxygen-free or a low oxygen atmosphere while heating and removes the moisture contained in the organic matter by evaporating and discharging the moisture from the exhaust valve.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】 有機物の種類によらず分解処理することができ、処理後の生成物が吸湿することがない有機物処理方法及び分解処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】 有機物を、排気弁が設けられた密閉容器に収納し、排気弁を閉じた状態で密閉容器に加熱水蒸気を導入し、有機物を加圧・加熱しながら攪拌して分解し、排気弁を開放して、密閉容器内を略常圧にした状態で、密閉容器に乾燥過熱水蒸気を導入して、分解後の有機物を無酸素若しくは、低酸素雰囲気下で加熱しながら攪拌し、有機物に含まれる水分を、気化して排気弁から排出することにより除去する。【選択図】図1
