PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crop excavating harvester configured to independently move a starting end and a terminal end of an excavating/conveying device in the vertical direction, and capable of setting an optimum posture of excavating crops and optimum distance of dropping of crops for working conditions at the same time.SOLUTION: The crop excavating harvester includes: travelling devices 12L and 12R which travel on a field the excavating/conveying device 30 for excavating crops from the field and conveying the excavated crops rearward a first lifting member 37 for moving a conveyance starting end side of the excavating/conveying device 30 in the vertical direction and a setting member 69 for setting a storage member 70 for storing the crops discharged from a conveyance terminal end of the excavating/conveying device 30. In the crop excavating harvester, the conveyance terminal end side of the excavating/conveying device 30 can be freely moved in the vertical direction. The crop excavating harvester also includes a second lifting member 39 for moving the conveying terminal end side of the excavating/conveying device 30 in the vertical direction.
