The use of the peptides as immunostimulatoryagents, and morespecifically, for use in treating and preventing antiviral, antibacterial andantifungal infections, andtreatment of diseases of the GI tract, in particular ulcerative disorders ofthe GI tract. The presentinvention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the peptides.Further, theinvention relates to methods of treatment of infection and ulcerative diseasesof the GI tractcomprising administering the peptides to patients in need thereof.
