PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction catheter allowing proper suction removal of a foreign body such as a thrombus.SOLUTION: A catheter body 11 of this suction catheter is formed with a sucking lumen 13 over about the whole in the axis L direction. A thrombus is sucked into the sucking lumen 13 through suction ports 14, 15 formed on the remote side of the catheter body 11. The suction catheter includes two suction ports 14, 15. The suction ports 14, 15 are formed apart from each other around the axis such that the suction ports 14, 15 face each other while sandwiching the axis L.
