PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder inhalation device capable of attaining smooth inhalation of a powder formulation taken out from a capsule for a long period.SOLUTION: The powder inhalation device 1 has a housing chamber 3 for housing a capsule C filled with the powder formulation, a body section 2 having an outside air flowing channel 10 for flowing outside air from an outside air taking in port 7 to an outside air discharging port 8 being an inhalation port of the powder formulation via the housing chamber 3, a boring tools 33a, 33b for boring a hole through the capsule C arranged in the housing chamber 3.
