PURPOSE: An artificial disc is provided to improve a degree of freedom of an artificial disc by making the movement of a joint possible and to be more strongly fixed to a vertebra because a hanging part is protruded from an upper body and lower body.CONSTITUTION: An artificial disc comprises: a lower body(30) fixed to a vertebra and in which a fixing protrusion(31) is protruded a joint having one convex side and a groove through which the protrusion is inserted in the other side and an upper body(10) fixed to the other vertebra and having a concave side to glide while attached to the convex side of the joint. A flange with expanded external diameter is formed in an end part of the fixing protrusion. A rim which has a smaller inner diameter than the external diameter of the flange is protruded along a circumference of the groove.
