PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for automatically mixing bone cement.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes two different plunger space parts (3, 4) having a gas supply port (9) and a gas discharge port (6) separated from each other by a plunger (1). The plunger (1) is provided with a shutting mechanism (5) which is switchable at a commutation point of the plunger channel. Proper connectors (13, 14) connect the plunger (1) to a mixer installed in a mixing container. Pressure difference and pressure evenness in both plunger space parts (3, 4) are alternately generated so that the plunger (1) is moved up and down.
