The present invention relates to a third-molar postsurgical inflammation measuring device, which allows establishing and accurately measuring the changes of the facial contour, thus recording the entire inflammatory process. The device consists of a central base and three arms. The central base possesses front and back plaques. The front plaque is composed of three rails with a metric scale engraved or printed on it, inserting therein the rails of the three arms with windows and an indicator in one of their ends, and in the other, probes. The back plaque consists of a groove with the insertion of the occlusal analog accessory in the mouth for remaining fixedly attached to the patient when performing the mouth closure. The instrument operates by extending the three arms to its maximum opening for the insertion of the occlusal accessory in the central body thereof, thus placing the arms on the side where the facial contour registration is performed. The instrument is placed in the mout h of the patient by the occlusal attachment, thus allowing remaining static.
