PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber module by which a sufficient joint strength of welded parts is stably obtained and the result of welding exhibiting a preferable appearance is obtained.
SOLUTION: The lid material is in the form of a cylinder and is mounted on a cylindrical container by making an ultrasonic horn abut on a top surface and is ultrasonically welded by applying vibration. The abutment surface of the lid material to be put on the ultrasonic horn is highly tapered toward the center of the lid material when the lid material is viewed from a side. A tapered angle is formed on the abutment surface to be put on the ultrasound horn so that deformation of the lid material due to pressurization by the ultrasound horn may be compensated.
