An oral controlled release composition comprising cyclosporin for use in the treatment of ulcerative colitis in a patient, wherein the composition is administered concurrently with an active agent selected from aminosalicylate and a steroid, and a fixed or a free combination thereof It is intended for use in therapy. Kits comprising the oral controlled release compositions and active agents are also claimed.
