PURPOSE: A transgenic plant with enhanced campesterol content is provided to manufacture food or medicine for preventing or treating coronary heart diseases. CONSTITUTION: An RNA interfering recombinant vector for plant expression contains a herbicide resistant selection marker, a promoter, terminator, and spacer between two T-DNA boarders. The recombinant vector also has a sense sequence for RNA interference of det2 gene, sense sequence for RNA interference of dwf4 gene, sense sequence for RNA interference of smt2 gene, and antisense sequence thereof which are operatively linked to the promoter. The recombinant vector is pFGC5941-DET2:DWF4:SMT2 vector. A method for preparing campesterol comprises a step of isolating campesterol from a plant transformed by the recombinant vector.본 발명은 캄페스테롤 함량이 증가된 형질전환 식물체를 제공한다. 본 발명의 형질전환 식물체는 캄페스테롤 함량이 높아 콜레스테롤 수치 강하, 관상 심장질환의 예방 또는 치료를 위한 식품 또는 의약의 제조에 이용될 수 있으며, 난쟁이 표현형을 나타내어 조경용, 분화용으로도 적합하다.
