PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable goggle frame that is releasably fastened to a goggle having a frame that retains a lens.SOLUTION: The removable frame is stiffer than the goggle frame, and, when fastened to the goggle, protects the goggle from damage caused by undesirable impacts by shielding the goggle frame and/or stiffening the goggle frame. The removable frame is also more flexible than the goggle frame, and, when fastened to the goggle, provides a more comfortable fit for a user. A removable drape that may be releasably fastened to the removable frame is also provided.
