A module cutterbar assembly includes a plurality of modules coupled to oneanotheralong a joint. Each module has a first surface defining a first plane and aninternal cavity. Adrive transfer mechanism is disposed within the internal cavity of each of theplurality ofmodules, and a drive hub assembly is mechanically coupled to the drivetransfer mechanism andextends out of the internal cavity away from the first plane. A cutting diskis coupled to the drivehub of each of the plurality of modules. A coupling mount is positioned oneach side of eachjoint and extends from the first plane towards the cutting disk. A cavity ispartially defined bythe first plane, the cutting disk, and the drive hub in each module. Thecoupling mount isdisposed at least partially within the cavity.
