PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating cadmium from processing residue of a squid and a shellfish at short time economically while maintaining quality and using the processing residue as a feed and a food product because the processing residue of a squid and a shellfish may include cadmium, but a feed using it includes heavy metal.SOLUTION: Provided is the cadmium removal device for processing residue of a squid and a shellfish. The cadmium removal device is configured to: heat and stir the processing residue of a squid and a shellfish at 50 to 65°C; dissolve by self-digestion or by adding a protein decomposition enzyme; separate solid whose size is 0.3 mm or more which did not dissolved by a solid-liquid separation device 18; put the processing residue into a tank 10 in which it is mixed with a chelate resin 11 or an ion exchange resin 11; add an inorganic acid or an organic acid; adjust pH to 5 to 6; heat at 50 to 65°C and stir and mix with the chelate resin 11 or the ion exchange resin 11 for adsorbing the cadmium; then separate the chelate resin 11 or the ion exchange resin 11.【課題】イカ、貝の加工残渣にはカドミウムを含有するものがあるが、これらを利用した飼料には重金属が含まれる。イカ、貝の加工残渣から品質を保ったまま短時間で経済的にカドミウムを分離し飼料及び食品として利用する方法を提供する。【解決手段】イカ、貝の加工残渣からのカドミウム除去装置に於いて、イカ、貝の加工残渣を50℃~65℃にて加温・撹拌し自己消化又はタンパク質分解酵素を添加し溶解後、固液分離装置18により0.3mm以上の溶解しなかった固形物を分離18し、キレート樹脂11又はイオン交換樹脂11と混合するタンク10に投入し、無機酸または有機酸を加えpH5~pH6に調整後、50℃~65℃で加温しながらキレート樹脂11又はイオン交換樹脂11と撹拌・混合しカドミウムを吸着させた後、キレート樹脂11又はイオン交換樹脂11を分離する工程を備える。【選択図】図1
